#8/1 Got milk?

For the next couple of days Kitty was constantly looking over her shoulder. She was scared to even move around in her apartment. At night she tried to keep some lights on so that nobody could sneak up on her from the dark corners of her home. But soon she noticed she couldn't sleep with lights on and had to give up that habit. Then days and nights went by and nothing happened. Kitty almost started thinking that the vampires had been pulling her leg and weren't coming back. She didn't ditch the few bottles of blood she had on her fridge though, just in case.

She started to get more worried about Trey who she hadn't hear from in a couple of days. Trey was always into some more of less questionable businesses and leaning more and more closer to major danger. Kitty hadn't had the energy to follow him around but on the other hand he wasn't easy to follow even for Kitty. The night came again and Kitty walked around in her kitchen drinking hot milk before going to bed. She finally picked up the phone and decided to give Trey a call. She thought she could at least ask him if he was okay. He was her brother after all. Kitty held the phone against her ear and opened the fridge door putting the milk back in. As she started to close the door Trey still hadn't picked up.
- OHMYGOD! Kitty gasped breath frightened and dropped her phone on the floor. Nigel was standing next to the fridge in the dark.
- Is that my blood? He asked.
