- What... Kitty asked while she was trying to catch her breath and picked up her phone from the floor. She cursed herself for not having the gun close to her again.
- That blood in your fridge, is it for me? Nigel specified.
- Yes, Kitty said and stood up right against the fridge door. But you're not getting it before you tell me what I want to hear. As soon as Kitty said that she realized how stupid her ultimatum sounded since she was pretty much defenseless against a vampire.
- Right. Nigel said and scratched his arm anxiously. Now that Kitty really looked at him she saw how pale and fragile he looked. For a normal person he probably didn't look much different from an average junkie on the streets.
- Wait a minute... where's Debbie? Kitty suddenly realized. She got afraid that she had another vampire lurking somewhere ready to attack her.
- Debbie's out. Hunting. Nigel said. Kitty wasn't sure if she could believe him. But on the other hand what choice did she have.
- I told you already that I can't help you. Nigel repeated what he has said before and Kitty almost lost it. She was so angry she wanted to strangle him.
- But I know some vampires that might be able to help. They're a lot older and know much more than me. Nigel continued.
- Go on. Kitty said. Will you take me to them?
- No I can't. Nigel said and Kitty thought about throwing him out.
- But I can tell you where to find them. Nigel said and scratched his neck. He obviously wanted the blood as soon as possible.
- They sometimes spend time in a night club in the city. It's called Up Above... it should be easy to find. Maybe you could ask around for Rives and Andrew.
- Rives and Andrew? Kitty repeated.
- Yes. Nigel said.
- But how do I... Kitty began her question but as she took a step closer to Nigel he disappeared like a flash going across the apartment. As he disappeared Kitty could hear the fridge door behind her slap shot. Nigel had taken the blood with him.
